Nicholas is 4 weeks old today! We just came from the doctor and he says that Nicholas is a very healthy baby boy. He is now weighing 12lbs 6ozs and is 23 inches long. We have been very lucky so far. He is a very good baby. He gets up every 2-4 hours in the night for a feeding and then goes right back to sleep. We have discovered that he does not like a dirty diaper. He lets us know right away when it is dirty. Danny and I are enjoying every minute of his life. We can't get enough loving. We are constantly hugging and kissing him. He is very alert and anyone who sees him can't not believe that he is only 1 month old. Look forward to everyone meeting him.

Love him, love him!
Nicholas has been such a blessing to us. Danny and I love him so very much. He is growing so much. No one believes us when we say that he is less than 3 weeks old. He is already wearing 3 months clothes. Danny says we grow them big in Texas. So my son is definitely a Texas blood boy. He is doing a lot already. He was lifting his head from the second day. He turned over from his back to his tummy two days ago. He is smiling at us, and he recognizes both Danny and my voice. We are cherishing each and every day.

Our New Addition
On September 24th, 2008 at 10:47am, Nicholas Daniel Davis was born weighing in at 10lbs 9ozs and measuring 22 inches. The doctors did not expect that I would have delivered such a big baby boy. Needless to say, it was a blessing that they had decided the day before that I have a scheduled C-section, as they said it would have been a lot of grief in the hospital if I would have attempted a normal vaginal delivery. We are very thankful to God for watching over all the doctors during this operation. I had exceptional care during this time. I had to stay in the hospital for 3 nights in order to recover from the cut. It was a week before I was able to walk properly and go up and down the stairs. Danny and I had to live downstairs in our apartment for a week.
